Oil price goes down, and Brent is at $79.78 a barrel

May 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are falling in Monday’s trading, after decline following the past week and a slight increase following the past month.

The price of July Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures exchange by 09:33 decreased by $0.55 (0.68%) to $79.78 per barrel. Following the trading on 28 April, Brent crude futures for July rose by $2.11 (2.70%) to $80.33 per barrel.

The price of WTI crude oil futures for June on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:33 decreaesd by $0.62 (0.81%), to $76.16 per barrel. Following the trading on 28 April, the price of June WTI oil futures grew by $2.02 (2.70%) to $76.78 per barrel.

Last week, Brent crude oil fell by 1.39% and WTI oil by 1.40%.

At the end of April 2023, Brent crude oil increased by 0.75% and WTI oil by 1.29%.
