April 28, Fineko/abc.az. India imported a record volume of Russian oil - 6.3 million tons or about 1.55 million b/d in February 2023, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Trade & Industry of India.

In monetary terms, the volume of purchases of Russian oil by India in February 2023 increased by 3.3% in monthly comparison and amounted to $3.35 bn.

In general, purchases of Russian petroleum products and oil cost India a record $3.9 bn in February 2023, which is 42-fold more than a year earlier.
