April 10, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are slightly rising in Monday's trading after last week’s growth due to the decision of a number of OPEC+ countries, including Saudi Arabia, on further production cut.
The price of June Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.01 (0.01%) to $85.13 per barrel by 09:30 am. Following the trading on 6 April, Brent crude futures for June rose by $0.13 (0.15%) to $85.12 per barrel.
By 09:30 am, the price of WTI oil futures for May on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.07 (0.09%) to $80.77 per barrel. Following the trading on 6 April, the price of May WTI oil futures rose by $0.09 (0.11%) to $80.70 per barrel.
On Friday, April 7, the U.S. and European exchanges were closed due to the Easter holidays.
Following the past week, Brent crude oil rose by 6.55% and WTI oil by 6.65%.
