April 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan imported 520 kg of sturgeon caviar for $156,720 in January 2023.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that compared with January 2022, this indicator decreased by 3.7% or 20 kg in volume terms and by 10.9% or $19,230 in quantitative terms. Last January, our country’s imports totaled 175.95 kg of sturgeon caviar for $540,000.

This January, the average import price per kilogram of sturgeon caviar decreased by 7.5% (versus January 2022) to $301.3 (512.2 manats).

100% of the sturgeon caviar imported by Azerbaijan was from China.
