April 6, Fineko/abc.az. Well-known American investment bank Goldman Sachs has been fined.

ABC.AZ reports that the Financial Industry Regulatory Organization (FINRA) mistakenly called Goldman Sachs, a popular Wall Street investment bank, a purchase, not a sale of certain shares. This led to distortion of trading reports. For this reason, Goldman Sachs was fined $3 million.

From October 2015 to April 2018, Goldman placed about 60 million short sale orders, which is more than 14 billion shares.
