Cost of oil grows, and Brent is at $85.40 a barrel

April 5, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Wednesday's auction.

The price of June Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.46 (0.54%) to $85.40 per barrel by 09:18 am. Following the trading on 4 April, Brent crude futures for June rose by $0.01 (0.01%) to $84.94 per barrel.

By 09:18 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for May on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) rose by $0.41 (0.51%) to $81.12 per barrel. Following the trading on 4 April, the price of May WTI oil futures increased by $0.29 (0.36%) to $80.71 per barrel.
