March 30, Fineko/abc.az. In February 2023, the number of employees in the banking sector increased by 170 people, or 0.7%, and amounted to 23,040 people, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the statistical bulletin published by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

The CBA informs that as of 28 February 2023, 25 banks operating in the country had 490 branches and 94 sub-branches. The number of ATMs in the country amounted to 3,003.
