March 13, Fineko/abc.az. Argentina, which has one of the most fertile lands for agricultural business in the world, began importing nitrogen fertilizers from Azerbaijan in 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, Azerbaijan exported 12,539 tons of nitrogen fertilizers to the South American country in 2022 ($11.29 million of this export volume).

A ton of fertilizers was sold from Azerbaijan to Argentina for $900 (less than last year's average of $400).
