March 6, Fineko/abc.az. Strawberry picking continues in Aksu district of Antalya, Turkiye's fruit and vegetable storage. The annual yield of strawberries produced on 3,306 decars (1 dec — 0.1 ha) amounted to 10,800 tons.

ABC.AZ reports that Emin Peker, a strawberry producer with land in Kundu district of Aksu province of Antalya, said that the collection of strawberries produced on an area of 10 decars will last until mid-June.

Peker states: "We produce strawberries with soil in the winter season and strawberry seedlings in the summer season. Our product lasts 3 months. We start harvesting 45 days after planting and harvest in 6 months."

Noting that they are selling all over the country, Peker said: "We work with 8 people during the harvest. We get from half a ton to 750 kg per day. We ship our products to wholesalers, carry out sales in the city and outside the city.”
