Cost of oil goes down, and Brent is at $85.03 a barrel

March 6, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are falling in Monday’s trading after rising last week.

The price of May’s Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange decreased by $0.80 (0.93%) to $85.03 per barrel by 09:28 am. Following the trading on 3 March, Brent crude futures for May grew by $1.08 (1.27%) to $85.83 per barrel.

By 09:28 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for April on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell by $0.73 (0.92%) to $78.95 per barrel. Following the trading on 3 March, the price of April WTI oil futures increased by $1.52 (1.94%) to $79.68 per barrel.

Following the past week, Brent crude oil rose by 3.63% and WTI oil by 4.40%.
