ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Migration Service, that after the February 6 earthquake in Turkiye, 8,897 people arrived in Azerbaijan from this country.

In recent days, the increase in the number of citizens arriving in our country from Turkiye has led to an increase in prices for rental housing in Baku. Currently, the cost of renting apartments in the capital varies depending on the district.

If earlier a 1-room apartment in the central districts of Baku was offered for 500-550 manats, now the cost of these apartments ranges from 600-700 manats.

Currently, apartment rental prices have increased by 10-15% compared with the previous months.

Meanwhile, it is claimed that Azerbaijan is considering suspending the construction of residential buildings with height of more than 9 floors. According to experts, if the government implements this plan, prices in the real estate market will seriously increase.
