Oil gets cheaper, and Brent is at $84.58 a barrel

March 3, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are falling in Friday’s trading, but may end the week with an increase.

The price of May’s Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures exchange decreased by $0.17 (0.20%) to $84.58 per barrel by 09:28 am. Following the trading on 2 March, Brent crude futures for May rose by $0.44 (0.52%) to $84.75 per barrel.

By 09:28 am, the price of WTI oil futures for April on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) fell by $0.17 (0.22%), to $77.99 per barrel. Following the trading on 2 March, the price of April WTI oil futures grew by $0.47 (0.61%) to $78.16 per barrel.
