March 1, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are increasing in Wednesday’s trading.

The price of May Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.48 (0.58%) to $83.93 per barrel by 09:37 am. Following the trading on 28 February, Brent crude futures for May rose by $1.41 (1.72%) to $83.45 per barrel.

By 09:37 am, the price of WTI oil futures for April on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) grew by $0.44 (0.57%), to $77.49 per barrel. Following the trading on 28 February, the price of April WTI oil futures increased by $1.37 (1.81%) to $77.05 per barrel.

In February 2023, Brent crude oil fell by 0.7% and WTI by 2.3%.
