February 28, Fineko/abc.az. Entrepreneurs involved in the agricultural sector are primarily concerned about such issues as the introduction of an agricultural insurance mechanism, difficulties with irrigation water, the availability of high-quality services of agronomists and other consulting services, the need to improve the mechanism of subsidies and other financing, the complexity of registration procedures in the field of food safety, wear of technological equipment and access to markets.

ABC.AZ reports that chairman of board of the Agency for the Development of Small and Medium-sized Businesses (KOBIA) Orkhan Mammadov informed about this during his speech at the Azerbaijan Agribusiness Forum.

"Undoubtedly, the great economic potential and the agricultural land resources of the territories liberated from occupation create great opportunities for the agar sector and the food industry. The realization of this potential within the public-private cooperation will make positive contribution to the further development of the agricultural and food industry and the economy of the country," Mammadov said.
