February 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan reduced potato exports by 15.2% and imports by 13% in 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that last year Azerbaijan exported 78,301 tons of potatoes (decline of 15.2%) for $35.1 million (decline of 13.9%).

The main export accounted for Russia. In particular, last year Azerbaijan delivered 73,677 tons of potatoes to Russia (decline of 13.7%) for $33.446 million (decline of 13%). In general, 94% of potato exports from Azerbaijan accounted for the Russian Federation last year.

At that, Azerbaijan imported 159,725 tons of potatoes in 2021 (decline of 12.7%) for $41.79 million (decline of 6.6%).
