February 23, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 147,632 tons of fresh persimmons last year (15.2% less than in 2021).

ABC.AZ reports that country’s income from persimmon export in 2022 reached $91.586 million (decline of 12.5%).

Azerbaijan exported 130,927 tons of persimmons for $106.4 million to Russia for 2022. In general, 88.7% of our country’s all exports of fresh persimmons accounted for Russia.

Ukraine occupies the second place on persimmon import from Azerbaijan, where the latter exported 14,124 tons for $4.787 million.

In 2021, Azerbaijan exported 174,158 tons of persimmons for $125.895 million, and the main volume of this export also accounted for Russia - 82% of all deliveries.
