February 21, Fineko/abc.az. Last month, Azerbaijan produced agricultural products for AZN 456.2 million.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, the indicator is 3.3% more versus January 2022.

The cost of crop production in January amounted to AZN 23.1 million (2% more against January 2022). The cost of livestock products grew by 3.4% up to AZN 433.1 million.

In 2022, our country harvested 3.16 million tons of grain and leguminous crops, including corn, from the fields (6% less than in 2021).

Azerbaijan harvested 1.07 million tons (1.2% more) of potatoes, 1.82 million tons (0.4% more) of vegetables, 469,300 tons (2% more) of melons, 1.25 million tons (4% more) of fruits and berries, 212,000 tons (1.3% more) of grapes, 1,000 tons (15% less) of green tea leaves, 222,700 tons (15.3% more) of sugar beet, 321,800 tons (12.1% more) of cotton, 29,400 tons (13.8% more) of sunflower and 5,100 tons (21% less) of tobacco.
