Cost of oil grows, and Brent is at $83.36 a barrel

February 20, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Monday’s trading after sharp decline following the last week.

The price of April Brent crude futures on the London ICE Futures exchange grew by $0.36 (0.43%) to $83.36 per barrel by 09:20 am. Following the trading on 17 February, Brent crude futures for April fell by $2.14 (2.51%) to $83.00 per barrel.

By 09:20 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for March on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.34 (0.45%) to $76.68 per barrel. Following the trading on 17 February, the price of March WTI oil futures dropped by $2.15 (2.74%) to $76.34 per barrel.

At the end of last week, Brent crude oil fell by 3.92% and WTI by 4.24%.
