February 17, Fineko/abc.az. BP will resume oil shipments from the Georgian port of Supsa on the Black Sea.
ABC.AZ reports that the above-said statement was made today by BP Regional President for Azerbaijan, Georgia & Turkiye Gary Jones at a press briefing.
He added that after the earthquake in Turkiye, the possibility of transportation via the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline appeared as an alternative: "Two tankers with oil have already been delivered to the port of Supsa.”
Gary Jones said that depending on weather conditions, these volumes of oil will be shipped to world markets.
