February 16, Fineko/abc.az. Seven projects have been proposed for irrigation networks in Karabakh. This year, it is possible to open a 7 km channel from Khachinchay water storage reservoir.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to Elmar Orujev, a representative of Melioration & Water Management Company, as saying this at the next meeting of the Urban Planning Working Group held in the city of Agdam with the organizational support of the State Committee for Urban Planning & Architecture. He added that a 14 km water supply line from the Terter River can also be built.

"There is not enough water flowing into the Terter River. The Sarsang reservoir is to blame for this. Khachinchai waters can provide irrigation for 30,880 hectares of territory. If there are no water lines, then alternative options will be considered," Orujev said.
