January 11, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR (State Oil Company of Azerbaijan) appointed Rufat Mahmud as the new head of the Russian subsidiary - Socar Rus LLC.

ABC.AZ reports that changes in the Unified State Register of Legal Entities were made on 9 January, according to the registry data.

The former head of the company was Farid Jafarov. He has headed the Russian structure of SOCAR since its foundation in 2013.

Socar Rus is a 100% "daughter" of SOCAR, specializing in the trade of oil, petroleum products and petrochemicals in the Russian Federation under direct contracts and on exchange platforms.
