January 6, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are rising in Friday’s trading.

The price of March Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange rose by $0.90 (1.14%) up to $79.59 per barrel by 08:55 am. Following the trading on 5 January, Brent crude futures for March grew by $0.85 (1.09%) up to $78.69 per barrel.

By 08:55 am, the price of WTI crude oil futures for February on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) increased by $0.87 (1.18%) up to $74.54 per barrel. Following the trading on 5 January, the price of February futures for WTI oil rose by $0.83 (1.14%) up to $73.67 per barrel.
