November 16, Fineko/abc.az. In October 2022, Azerbaijan generated 2.238 bn kWh of electricity.

ABC.AZ reports that compared with Jan-Oct 2021, electricity generation at thermal power plants increased by 458.4 million kWh up to 21.9 bn kWh, at hydroelectric power plants by 354.5 million kWh up to 1.46 bn kWh, and according to other sources (wind and solar  power plants, solid waste incineration plant) by 3.4 million kWh up to 291.8 million kWh.

From January to October, 73.4 million kWh of electricity was generated at wind power plants, 55 million kWh at solar power plants, and 163.4 million kWh at the solid waste incineration plant.
