November 15, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has sharply reduced potato imports from Iran for the 3rd quarter of 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that for Jan-Sept 2022 imported 36,130 tons of potatoes from Iran for $8.93 million (by 72,000 tons, or 66.6% less versus Jan-Sept 2021).

During the same period of 2021, Azerbaijan imported 108.16 tons of potatoes from Iran for $26.07 million.

In 2022, a ton of potatoes was imported from Iran at a price of $247.2. In 2021, the cost was $242 per ton.
