August 29, Fineko/abc.az. Purchase prices for cotton have been increased as harvest season is approaching. For each grade of cotton, the purchase price will be increased by 50 manats per ton.

According to ABC.AZ, under the agreement, the purchase price per ton of cotton of the 1st grade of production in 2022 will be 800 manats, 2nd grade will be 780 manats, 3rd grade will be 740 manats, 4th grade will be 700 manats.

The purchase price for raw cotton in 2022 is increased for the second time. So in January 2022, it was decided to increase the purchase price by 50 manats. In 2022, in general, the purchase prices for raw cotton in Azerbaijan increased by 100 manats. This step will motivate farmers to grow cotton and improve their financial condition.
