September 11, Fineko/abc.az. Baku and Ankara signed a protocol following the 5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum on Friday.

The document was signed by Azerbaijan's Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and his Turkish counterpart Alparslan Bayraktar.

It was previously reported that the sides discussed ways to expand cooperation in hydrocarbons and petrochemicals, energy efficiency, the electricity market, renewable energy, industry regulation, mining and other areas at the forum in Baku today.

The first energy forum between the two countries was held in Baku in 2021, and Istanbul, Nakhchivan and Izmir took part in the next stages.
