April 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Metro has commissioned three new agricultural trains (motor locomotives).

ABC.AZ reports that the trains are manufactured in Russia by ViLen LLC based on Azerbaijani technical specifications.

At that, the climatic conditions of Baku, the hydrogeological conditions of the metro, the relief, the planned and profile condition of the road, and the features of the work performed were taken into account. Currently, there are 27 utility trains in the Baku metro.

Five of them were purchased in 2014-2017. It is planned that the fleet of motor vehicles will consist mainly of cars of the previous generation, and the renewal process will continue in the coming years, taking into account the needs of the purple line.
