March 18, Fineko/abc.az. The State Customs Committee has published a report on the import of cars to Azerbaijan for the first 2 months of 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that over Jan-Feb 2022 our country imported 57 electric cars for $1.25 million and 2,032 hybrid cars for $16.47 million.

Imports of electric cars increased 5.7 times and hybrid cars by 95%.

In addition, the import of trucks in Azerbaijan decreased by 12.7% to 668 vehicles for $14.35 million (a rise of 30.4%).

Also, Azerbaijan imported 50 special purpose motor vehicles (a rise of 3.3-fold) for $5.7 million.
