July 17, Fineko/abc.az. To date, about 8,500,000 citizens have applied to the State Service for Mobilization & Conscription of Azerbaijan, who responded to the call of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces - President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. They expressed their desire to serve in the armed forces on a voluntary basis and were registered accordingly.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Service that if necessary, reserve military personnel can be called up by local service structures in accordance with the requirements of legislation and involved in appropriate measures to ensure the protection of the country and the security of the state.
