April 15, Fineko/abc.az. Over the first 3 months of 2020 Azerbaijan received foreign currency for $3.78 bn on goods that are part of the oil and gas sector.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the monthly report of the State Customs Committee, crude oil exports accounted for $3.522 bn.

Azerbaijan sold 7.576 million tons of crude oil in exchange for this currency.

For comparison, Azerbaijan exported 7.697 bn tons of crude oil for $3.534 bn over the 1st quarter of 2019.

This shows that compared with the same term of 2019 the foreign currency received by Azerbaijan decreased by 0.3% on crude oil.
