October 4, Fineko/abc.az. On 3 October Sochi hosted the plenary session of the 16th annual meeting of the Valdai International Discussion Club. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the session.

Touching upon the issue of Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno Karabakh conflict, the country’s president spoke about the consequences of the Armenian occupation, saying that the four resolutions adopted by the UN Security Council on the settlement of the conflict have not been implemented for more than 25 years. Stressing that the statement of Armenian Prime Minister "Karabakh is a part of Armenia and a point" is a lie, President Aliyev said:" Karabakh is a historical, primordial Azerbaijani land. So Karabakh is Azerbaijan and an exclamation point."
