July 31, Fineko/abc.az. The first meeting of the Commerce & Industry of Turkic-Speaking States, established to support the expansion of mutual trade and investment opportunities between Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, has been held in Istanbul today.

Azerbaijan was represented in this structure by Mammad Musayev, the president of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Azerbaijan.

At the initial stage Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkey and Turkmenistan will be represented in the Chamber and in the future the organization is expected to include other Turkic-speaking states.

According to the Chamber, its organizational structure was approved as a result of the vote. Rifat Khisarjıklıoglu has been appointed as the president and Adam Kula as general secretary of the Chamber.
