January 11, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev conducted a meeting of the Cabinet Ministers devoted to the results of socio-economic development in 2018 and the upcoming tasks.

During the meeting the head of state said that country’s GDP growth for the past year made up 1.4%, including growth of the non-oil sector by 1.8%.

"Growth of industrial production in 2018 reached 1.5% and agricultural production 4.6%, while country's foreign exchange reserves amounted to $45 bn. In 2018, 118,000 new jobs were opened in Azerbaijan," the president said.
