October 9, Fineko/abc.az. The annual growth rate of consumer prices in Azerbaijan was 5.7% for Jan-Sept 2026, remaining at the level recorded for Jan-Aug.

According to the State Statistics Committee, inflation remains within the target range of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (4±2%), but is approaching its upper limit.

Prices for food, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products grew by 7.2%, paid services by 5%, and non-food products by 3.7%.

In order to stabilize inflation expectations, the CBA reduced the lower limit of the interest rate range to 5%, keeping the discount rate at 6.5% and the upper limit of the range at 7.5%.
