September 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Mortgage & Credit Guarantee Fund of Azerbaijan has given mortgage loans for 4.9 bn manats to 60,016 borrowers.

In addition, 10,092 apartments were given within the lease-to-buy program.

"The Mortgage & Credit Guarantee Fund was established in late 2017 by merging Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund OJSC and Credit Guarantee Fund OJSC and is their legal successor.

The Fund provides financial institutions with liquidity to give long-term subsidized mortgage loans, as well as facilitates access to more affordable financial resources.
