July 31, Fineko/abc.az. Nikkei 225 added 4.03% (to 64,362) on Friday, showing one of the biggest intraday jumps, while TOPIX rose by 1.29%. The growth was provided by stocks of companies from the AI and semiconductors, supported by strong reporting from Microsoft and Tokyo Electron.

Ibiden, Panasonic, and Kioxia were the leaders of growth, while Nomura Research and Konica Minolta declined. In the afternoon, growth slowed due to profit-taking, but the overall sentiment of investors remained positive.
