Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan’s assets increased by 47% and deposits by 45%

July 15, Fineko/abc.az. Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC has released the financial figures for the first half of 2026.

According to the report, the bank demonstrated rapid double-digit growth in key balance sheet indicators, significantly strengthening its position in the market.

As of July 1, 2026, bank's assets grew by 47.1% year-on-year, reaching 870.7 million manats. The main driver of this growth was expansion of lending, with bank's net loan portfolio increasing by 30.8% up to 465.395 million manats in the first half of 2026.

The sharp increase in the deposit portfolio, which rose by 45.8% up to 572.968 million manats, testifies about the high level of trust from both individuals and businesses. Bank's overall liabilities observed growth by 55.8% up to 740.762 million manats and its balance sheet capital by 11.5% up to 129.97 million manats.

Bank's earnings also showed a significant rise, growing by 28.1% up to 47.043 million manats. The bank ended the first half of 2026 with net profit of 4.788 million manats. The slight correction in net profit was linked with bank's conservative approach to risks, as it increased its special reserve contributions by 31.7% up to 3.268 million manats and income tax payments to the State Budget by 79.3% up to 1.589 million manats.
