July 2, Fineko/abc.az. Kyrgyzstan has officially appealed to Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan "with the purpose to maintain stable fuel supplies".

The Ministry of Energy of Kyrgyzstan informed that most of the fuel and lubricants are purchased abroad.

"In this regard, changes in the global energy market, including geopolitical tensions in the Middle East, risks in international logistics, and rising global oil prices, are affecting the domestic market as well as the markets of many other countries," the Ministry says in its materials.

Therefore, the government and the Ministry of Energy are trying to address the country's energy security and ensure regular supplies within the fuel and lubricants market through various measures. For example, the administration is working to diversify its fuel suppliers and expand its options.

The Ministry claims that it conducts daily monitoring of the fuel and lubricant market and has stockpiled the necessary fuel reserves in the republic. According to the article, fuel purchases are carried out on a regular basis in accordance with the signed contracts, and the process of fuel supply is constantly monitored.
