Kyrgyzstan wants to buy fuel and lubricants from Azerbaijan

July 1, Fineko/abc.az. Kyrgyzstan has sent an official request to Azerbaijan to ensure stable supplies of fuels and lubricants (F&L) amid the unstable situation in the global energy market, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Kyrgyz Ministry of Energy.

Similar requests have also been sent to the competent government agencies of Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan.

The Ministry says that measures are being taken to maintain stable fuel supplies and ensure the country's energy security. Concurrently, negotiations are underway to diversify supplies and expand international cooperation in this area.

Kyrgyzstan currently has sufficient reserves of F&L, and deliveries are ongoing in accordance with previously concluded contracts and are constantly monitored, the Energy Ministry informed.
