June 22, Fineko/abc.az. 52 agroparks established in 32 districts of Azerbaijan accelerated the development of agriculture.

ABC.AZ reports that Presidential Aide Khalid Akhadov made the relevant statement at a regional meeting on the Shirvan-Salyan economic region within the State Program on Production & Processing of Agricultural, Fisheries & Aquaculture Products 2026-2030.

According to Akhadov, the agrarian reforms carried out in the country have also made it necessary to involve additional land in agricultural turnover: "In accordance with President’s instructions, 169,100 hectares of land that were acquired or leased for a long time, but were withdrawn from circulation and not used for many years, were returned to agricultural use. In accordance with the presidential instructions, 52 agricultural parks have been created in 32 regions of the country. The creation of agricultural parks has stimulated the development of entrepreneurship more widely, made significant contribution to production of competitive agricultural products, reduced dependence on imports for a number of goods and increased employment."
