Oil price goes down: Brent - $78.44 a barrel

June 22, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are falling in Monday’s trading.

As of 09:30, on the ICE Futures exchange, the price of August’s Brent crude futures fell by $1.61 (2.01%) to $78.44 per barrel. Following the trading on June 19, the contract rose in price by $0.72 (0.90%) up to $80.05 per barrel.

On the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX), August’s futures for WTI crude oil declined by $0.76 (1.00%) to $75.09 per barrel by 09:30. There were no auctions in the U.S. on June 19 because of the National Liberation Day (Juneteenth).

The price of Azerbaijani crude oil Azeri Light increased by $2.89 (3.61%) up to $82.95 per barrel.

Last week, crude Brent dropped by 7.74%, WTI by 9%, and Azeri Light by 8.34%.
