June 17, Fineko/abc.az. In Azerbaijan, 628 state institutions have already been registered in the Public Audit Information System as part of the digitalization of state audit.

ABC.AZ informs that Accounts Chamber’s auditor Hilal Huseynov said this at the event "Digital State Audit for Sustainable Regional Integration" organized by the Chamber as part of the 51st annual meeting of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group.

According to Huseynov, the system currently collects 17 types of reports and employs 1,082 active users: "More than 100 criteria are used for data analysis. The system allows you to electronically collect information on budget execution, the use of public funds, debt obligations and public procurement."

Huseynov noted that the Accounts Chamber plans to introduce artificial intelligence technologies into the state audit: "At the next stage, AI-based solutions will be integrated into the audit system, communications with information systems of government agencies will be expanded and opportunities for remote auditing will be created. These innovations will make it possible to identify risks earlier, speed up audit processes, and use resources more efficiently."
