ABC.AZ informs that Zaur Hajili, Director of the Department of Policy & Regulation of Financial Monitoring of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), said this at the X International Financial & Banking Summit in Baku.

According to Hajili, in the countries of Central Asia and the states of the Caspian basin, regulations are to a certain extent retail in nature: "Synchronization in this area is important to ensure effective operation. We see this as a "cross-border convergence". On the other hand, an important area is the active exchange of experience and cooperation between regulatory authorities. This process is currently ongoing and is expected to be further strengthened.

In conclusion, our main strategic vision is based on four fundamental elements: the application of international standards,

the expansion of digital solutions, the development of corporate culture and compliance culture, and the synchronization of rules and practices."

Hajili believes that financial security in the region as a whole requires a holistic approach.
