May 15, Fineko/abc.az. According to estimates by Dutch banking group ING Group, inflation in Azerbaijan in 2026 and 2027 is expected to reach 5.4% and 5.2%, respectively.

ABC.AZ informs that according to ING Group’s forecast, inflation in Azerbaijan will be 5.7% in the 1st quarter of 2026, 5.5% in the 2nd quarter and 5.2% in the 3rd and 4th quarters.

At the same time, according to quarterly forecasts for 2027, inflation in Azerbaijan will be 5% for Q1 of next year, 5.3% in the 2nd and 3rd quarters and 5.4% in the 4th quarter.

According to previous estimates by the Dutch group, inflation in Azerbaijan in 2026 and 2027 was projected at 5.2% and 5.1%, respectively. Thus, compared with ING Group’s previous forecast, inflation expectations in Azerbaijan grew by 0.2 p.p. in 2026 and by 0.1 p.p. in 2027.
