Shareholders approve merger of Warner Bros. Discovery and Paramount Skydance for $110 bn

April 24, Fineko/abc.az. The shareholders of Warner Bros. Discovery supported the sale of the company to media holding Paramount Skydance.

ABC.AZ informs that the cost of the merger is estimated at approx. $110 bn and is now awaiting approval from U.S. and EU regulators.

The merger will combine the key assets of the two studios, including Warner Bros., HBO Max, CNN and CBS, as well as major franchises like Harry Potter and DC Comics, into one of Hollywood's largest entertainment empires.
