April 7, Fineko/abc.az. As of April 1, 2026, the number of active taxpayers in Azerbaijan increased by 1.4% compared with the beginning of the year and amounted to 871,138.

ABC.AZ reports that the number of active VAT-payers in the country grew by 2.6% during this period and reached 59,942.

And the number of active business entities (facilities) on this date reached 237,896, a rise of 2.2%.
