March 31, Fineko/abc.az. Toyota Motor Corporation reduced global production by 3.9% in February 2026 to 749,700 vehicles, recording a decline for the fourth month in a row amid weak performance in China and Japan.

ABC.AZ reports that output abroad decreased by 4.6%, especially in China (-11.5%) and Canada (-46.2%), while growth was recorded in the U.S. (+3.4%) due to demand for hybrids. In Japan, the manufacture dropped by 2.6%.

Company's sales also fell by 3.3% (to 737,100 cars): the strongest growth was recorded in China (-13.9%) and Japan (-8.3%), while growth was observed in the USA (+3.2%).
