January 28, Fineko/abc.az. Since 1991, Turkish companies have implemented more than 1,000 projects in Turkmenistan with total value of over $54 billion, ABC.AZ reports, quoting the Turkish Ambassador to Ashgabat, Ahmet Demirok.

The projects cover key infrastructure facilities, from energy and transport to housing, social facilities and ports.

Turkish companies are ready to participate in new initiatives, including the second phase of the smart city of Arkadag. According to the ambassador, the volume of mutual trade between Turkey and Turkmenistan for Jan-Nov 2025 approached $2 billion, while the parties expect to increase it to $5 billion.
