December 23, Fineko/abc.az. A consortium of investors from Saudi Arabia and American private funds will acquire EA, one of the largest publishers and developers of video games.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Bloomberg, Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner is among the investors.

The decision to sell EA was approved by the shareholders of the publishing house. The total value of the transaction will be $55 billion.

Bloomberg believes that EA's privatization will give developers more freedom: they will be able to focus on the quality of games, rather than meeting the quarterly requirements of government investors.

EA is one of the largest video game publishers and developers in the world. The company was founded in 1982 in the USA and is known for the FIFA/EA Sports FC, The Sims, Battlefield, and Apex Legends series. The company specializes in sports games, large AAA projects, and online services with long-term support.
