December 17, Fineko/abc.az. The systematic provision of food safety in the country is of great strategic importance. Food safety is strictly monitored throughout the entire supply chain, including the production, processing, transportation, and wholesale retail of food.

ABC.AZ informs that the chairman of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan, Goshgar Tahmazli, said this at today’s final event dedicated to agricultural business festivals.

He noted that the importance of such festivals is undeniable in terms of promoting innovation in the agricultural sector, expanding the knowledge and capabilities of farmers and entrepreneurs, as well as strengthening cooperation between the state and the private sector: "Agricultural business festivals, held in various regions of the country on the initiative of the Center for Agrarian Innovations of the Ministry of Agriculture, have already become an important platform for dialogue, exchange of knowledge and experience for the agricultural sector.

I would like to note that by actively participating in these festivals, our main goal is to ensure safety, quality and sustainability in agricultural production for farmers and entrepreneurs through direct, clear and practical mechanisms. In this regard, it should be emphasized that within the traditional republican exhibitions and fairs for the sale of beekeeping products, organized annually by the Ministry of Agriculture, all products for sale are checked based on risk assessment."
